System Help

I AM THINKING OF UPGRADING THE STEREO IN MY CAR. I WAS THINKING ABOUT THE AUDIOBAHN ACH2300X 2400 WATT AMP AND A PAIR OF EITHER THEIR FLAME Q 12'S OR ALUMINUM 12'S. FiRST IS AUDIOBAHN A GOOD QUALITY MANUFACTURER. ALSO WHAT IS THE BEST 12 INCH SUBWOOFER THAT AUDIOBAHN MAKES IM LOOKING FOR DEEP CAR RUMBLING BASS. WILL I NEED A CAPACITOR AND/OR A YELLOW TOP BATTERY FOR THIS. FINALLY WHAT IS A GOOD HEAD UNIT TO TIE ALL THIS TOGETHER.

Audiobahn makes awesome amps...i've herd bad and good about the subs but mostly bad....the main thing is that the subs dont handle the power that they claim.....and my friend has owned 3 flame Q 15s and blown all 3 with a 2300HC

that amp is alot of power and you prolly wont need that much...you might wanna look at a smaller wattage of that same amp...also if you want flame Qs you can get um at www.cmttrading.com $132 for a 12 and i think $128 for a 10 or something like that....If you really wanted to blow the $ on an audiobahn set up go with the 2300HC and 2 Linear compression 12s or one would work just fine and youd be hittin pretty hard.....

As for electrical..if you decide to go with the 2300HC you might wanna think about an isolated 2nd battery and maybe even an altenator upgrade.....

a cap is good for making sure the amp is getting the propper supply durring those deep notes when it's pulling the most power.....if the battery is dropping down to 9volts during a deep bass line or whatever then the notes will sag...a cap just insures that it is gonna get a 12volt burst....but a cap wont save battery power.......

only get a 2nd battery if you are going to be playing alot when your car is off. If it sucks to much and your battery cant rechage when the car is on, even with a capacitor then a new alternator is in order

yep, a second battery is just a load on alternator once the car is started
