Hello. I thought I would share this project with AF. It's a Revell '92 Mercury Cougar with the engine from the Revell Super Stallion. The hood from the Super Stallion has been grafted onto the Cougar hood. A ground effects kit came with the kit and has been smoothed out the aid in polishing out the paint later on. The wheels are narrowed down to 2 choices: 19" Aoshima Jackhammers and some Pegasus 22" rims as pictured below; thanks to Wkma7six for the wheels from Pegasus. The side mirrors are from a Tamiya Skyline, the trunk was cut open using the back of a fresh #11 X-acto blade and a lip will be added using strip styrene. Nitrous tanks and stereo equipment will be added to the trunk area. Various components in the engine compartment will be detailed using Detail Master braided hose and fittings. The seats will be detailed using Scale Motorsports interior decals. I figured I needed a good challenge and Russ (SpoonMan Dos) made me aware of a contest at Hobbytown USA next month so I figured what the heck! I don't have a color yet but I'll come up with something! Enough of the words, now for the pictures...

Guido Hi Guido! I used putty to smoth out areas that had too much of a distraction to me. I prefer a smooth, simplified look so the putty had to be used to subdue things a little bit. Thank you for all of your comments!
