This is the story of my Need for Speed. In NFS5 I was racing and realized that some cars can do over 280 km/h. I don't have the following figures in mph so deal with it. I soon bought several top end Trubos and a GT1 and did "Speed Trials" Here what happened.

1st Car: Modified 1995 993 Turbo
Course: Zone Industrielle
Speed: 307 km/h

2nd Car: Modified 2001 996 Turbo
Course: Zone Industrielle
Speed: 317 km/h

Finally, this is the part that gave me the little entertainmet I wanted. Although I didn't even come close to Mclaren speed I tried.

3rd Car: Stock 1998 911 (996) GT1
Course: Zone Industrielle (There is a section near the end that I was using)
Mods: The car can't really be modified but I set the shocks/ travel/stiffness close to the end and set tire pressure normal (30) and downforce to 5
Speed: I was able to first take it easily over 320 km/h and then on the last run I did an amazing (For pretty much any car racing game) 354 km/h I believe that is over 200 mph but somebody will need to check.

I challenge anybody and would like to race online if possible.

Ever Since I saw this I've been doin speed trials:) I got my 1995 911 Turbo up to 191mph and it seemed like it had some left. I'm gonna make it over 200mph by the end of the night:)

For the 1995 Turbo, it seems the fasest at first but, if you use the GT1 with zero downforce it is fastest.

Note: For the GT1, if you don't know already, you need to accelerate in a straight line for a little while like up to 100 km/h or else you'll spin out.

Well heres what I've gotten so far 200 mph out of the 2001 911 Turbo, 192 mph out of the 1995 911 Turbo and 197 mph out of the GT1, I know I can go faster and I'm gonna do it right now:)

What course are you on? I use ZI but I was thinking of trying a straighaway on the Autobahn. For enhanced details, in ZI you must be travelling over 250 km/h as you pass the incinerators, the large circular flame vents. From here you take the left turn with little or no braking. Continue straight and pass thorugh the building and head through the train station, if you do this right should be around 340 km/h in the GT1. I can't control it while entering the station, so this is where I smack the wall and am sent hurling though the air.

I'm using Zone Instrulie. I use the back wards mode than I go on the straightawya where the pipes go over the track then thorugh that corver than I whack the wall there usually by the trailer or I make it through there and hit the wall on the corner:) But the autobahn has a couple of good stright aways one really good one ont he third exit I think or the second one.

Well carmaster, I know you're going through tough times right now but if you get the chance.... I just did 217 mph on the Autobahn in my GT1, it was stuck at 216 forever and then I saw it change jsu before I hit the wall. I was well over 7000 rpm. I also found it easier on the bahn, thanks for the advice?

I'm working on it. I was trying some diff cars, like the 959 but it handled like crap and didn't go that fast, but I'm gonna make a few more attempts right now with the GT1.

I'll also try once more,. If you read this after 9:35PM I'm already trying again. I Think the facts are that the cars just tops out at 217. BTW, I coulda told you the 959 was crap.

I'm done for Today, I did 217 mph on ZI and with careful precision, managed 219 mph on the Autobahn.
