5 series model change

Does anyone know when the model change will take place on the 5 series? I am planning on purchasing one soon, but should I wait a few more months?

I heard it was supposed to be the 2004 model year. Why buy new? My buddy just bought a 2000 740 on EBAY for $23,000. I would go there or go to www.bmwusa.com and check the certified preowned vehicles. This is a much better value.

As much as the present 5-series is a good car, its an old one (1995) I'd really wait for the new one, but I don't know when its coming to the US. Getting it here (norway) in september, or so... my advice: wait!
