I heard this sunday(feb 16) around sunday night around 10:00 or 10:30 on MTV jackass will show the gumball 3000 , and they will have johnny knoxville in it and some other people driving lamborghinis, ferraris, and porches with some other cars is anybody gonna see it!

By the way did anybody see the special edition of cribs with busta rhymes in it with his chrome wheel murcielago?

MTV Jackass did Gumball last year, but they weren't driving any nice cars (I mean the cast of Jackass). I will probly watch it again this year.

And I did see the Cribs with Busta Rhymes' Murci. It was gorgeous. He named it Peppermint, it was lime green with cream interio and green stictching. The rims were so nice, chrome with lime green lips to match the cars paint. He is a lucky man. Speaking of rappers/singers with very nice cars, Wycleff Jean has a Pagani Zonda.

The Murci had Flipmode plates on it, but on the Cribs, he introduced it as "Peppermint". Flipmode is his record lable, in case someone didn't know.
35" RIMS??? I think they were 25". 35 inchers do not exist and would not fit on a normal vehicle. Busta also had a nice H2. These guys are so lucky...

Oh and BTW, did anyone see the Cribs where XZibit went car shopping. He test drove a modified silve Murci. It was retailed at over $300k, around $350k I think...

Pennyho - I still plan on making the videos. But now Ive waited so long and anticipation is so high that I cant possibly meet expectations. So I keep waiting for better ideas. Silly.

I'm also waiting for track time.

Sorry for not coming through on my promise in a timely manner. I will do it eventually.

Oh and Xzibit, test drove a titanium colored Murci at the same time he test drove the 360 and "supposedly" drove home with it, he probably did but you never know how much is just set up for tv.

Damn did any body see the Gumball 3000 on sunday night it wasnt there:confused: ? Also did any body see Missy Elliot's house on wednesday night at 10, cuz i missed it i only saw the 2 white trash houses after, i just wanted to know is Missy Elliot showed her Lamborghini Murcielago?
Here are 2 lambo sites if you wanna see them they got a couple videos of the murcielago and diablo:

I saw her house, its unbelievable! It's actually a 14,000 sq. ft. apartment. She has Lamborghini furniture(couches, and tables)!! She has a F355 shaped bed with a trunk lid that raises up and has a plasma tv. I think her house is probably my favorite out of anyones ever. She has several waterfall type things in her house and one of which spells out MISSY and is set up vertically to the ceiling with water flowing down it. Her cars were a Lime Green Murcielago, Tour de France Blue(i think thats the color it was) 360 Spider and an H2 with 24's. Her Murci had custom green painted wheels that I think are the one thing I hated and think make the car look a little cheap. If you can catch the re-aired episode its a must watch or her house anyway.

And Pennyho, the Enzo has a 6.0L V12 in it, not 3L.

why do you all say a enzo costs 1.300.000 dollar

it "only" costs about 700000! (in europe)...

pennyho
02-21-2003, 01:11 PM
Well im not in europe but my parents were born there , but still that price is not even close enough to be worth it for that car, i also think the lights look ugly on the front. Like in 10 years if someone came to my house they would think that i lost all that money for a car, and they would be like you spent $1,300,000 for that!!!! So instead i would have alot of classy nice cars and a bigger house. Also from my opinion i think the lamborghini cars look more attractive than the ferraris, i seem to like my camaro better, just on the looks. But if were talking about engines then look if you bought a murcielago and had $1,000,000 to tune it up for that price the enzo would be smoked so thats why i think the enzo is a rip off. And did any body see a show today (feb 21) around 1 o clock named dash board dreamers, it showed bentlys and lamborghinis and also corvettes?

pennyho
02-21-2003, 01:13 PM
Also Tony could the murcielago have 2 twin superchargers, since a twin super charger requires 2 air intakes, and the murcielago has 4 would it be able to have 2 twin super chargers:confused:  ? And tony did any hos ever come up to your Lamborghini to ask you if you wanted to get laid?

Tony_Ensemble
02-22-2003, 06:22 AM
I dont know about the superchargers. I havn't heard of anyone doing that yet. Someone will try it soon and then we'll read about his 700hp Murcielago. Either that or we'll read about how someone deusched their Lambo trying to supercharge it. Still its an interesting question, I'll ask around.

any hos ever come up to your Lamborghini
Yah, but they couldn't aford my price.

Tony_Ensemble
02-22-2003, 06:31 AM
Oh yah.. Back to the Gumball 3000 topic:

I spoke with Julie at the Gumball office. I'm still toying with the idea if this other guy from my work will co-pilot. Anyway I asked her if there were any Murcielagos in last years race. Becuase I hadn't seen any on the videos. She said there were none last year. I asked about this year. She said this year there are six Murcielagos entered other than mine.

How cool would that be seeing six Murcielagos all different colors pass you on the highway at 160 MPH. :bloated:

Wow! That would be great! We'll cheer from the sidelines! Make sure you have some sort of internet connection and post updates and pics here for us little folks :D.

why are you ripping on the enzo for it's cost?

there's how many being built?

that's an instant collector...
that's like owning a 1920 bugatti... way overpriced, but hey, you own it...

why not just realize that some people are willing to pay that much for a car?

and the people that own them probably own 2-3 other supercars AT LEAST...

so it's not an issue...

TexasF355F1
02-22-2003, 01:36 PM
I agree totally flylwsi! There were originally suppose to only be 349 built, but then it was recently chagned to 399. And the fact of the matter is, if someone can sink $670,000(what the original price is suppose to be) then $1,300,000 is nothing. If I had the $$ then I'd have one to not only drive but as a collectors car.

Texas, Fly

I guess its a trade off when choosing to buy a really top end super car like the Enzo or the Mclaren or purchase several other cheaper supercars and have some change left over - nothing wrong in going with either options as long as you can afford it.

Some people are willing to pay top dollar for an Enzo and some think its nuts. For me it simply depends on what that person's obssesion is :). If I was a huge (and very rich) Ferrari fan I'd waste no time going for the Enzo or a F50 (my current fav Ferrari).

Owning a supercar is never a practical thing - its pure passion. :D

pennyho
02-23-2003, 07:25 PM
I was saying its only a rip off if you had only $1,300,000 and you spent it all on the enzo then you would be totally broke after that, cmon wat kind of chick would want a poor guy with an enzo, but if ure rich like bill gates then fine. I would buy all the super cars i wanted(except for stupid japenese cars), and diffenernt hummers and limos, and by the way tony wat was your offer to those "people" that went up to your car? so that is my opinion of the enzo just depends if your rich or not.

well the MR2 isn't really a supercar, but I was talking about japanese sports cars in general. (sports cars by design, not by modification)

The thing is that I hate the stupid japenese cars that i always see here in America wow they have 4cyl. every day i go somewhere with my camaro i see those slow crapped up cars like celicas and s2000 and they run soooo damn slow wow 4cyl, and v6 so they make me have to go drive right next to them then go in the front and then i piss em off by usually smoking my tires, and cmon the s2000 has like 230 or 240 hp with v6 for more than $40,000 wat kind of sport car is that my camaro can smoke that sooo badly. So those are the reasons why i despise jap. cars, the only reasons why they are here is because they are for cheap jews that dont wanna waste money for gas!:finger: :flipa: :finger: :flipa:

And also wats up with those subarus that have like 3 NOS tanks and race corvettes because they have no chance cmon 4cyl will definitely lose to v8 with 5.7 liters and if the corvette had 3 NOS Tanks then it would be like a jet vs a turtle. And wats up with those gay ads with the nissan pathfinder it has a picture of that vs a jet plane, and it said "not that you would but you could" could what... lose?

Japanese or European or American...

You can't argue about tastes. It's something individual.

pennyho
02-25-2003, 08:08 PM
But seriously American and european car makers are the ones that actually have beyond 4or 6 cyl. sports cars, and japanese car makers just make cars because they expect people to buy them for their cheap prices;) thats the only reason, because they really dont look good and dont have big engines, the only reason is for its price and long life.

Hmmm whats wrong with japanese sports cars.......they are a reasonably priced sports cars that many people can afford unlike lambo, ferrari etc, not everyone is well off and i disagree that you need v10/v12 as a modded supra could wipe the floor with a ferrari 355 and costs less than 1/4 of the price including all the mods....you obviously haven't experienced the feel of a sports car or a luxury one for that matter. if you have watched the 'the fast and the furious' the ferrari/supra race in that is balls, if you have been to a real drag racing event you would notice there are hardly any ferraris there, not because there arent as many, its because if you pay £100,000+ for your car you wont want to get beaten by a £20,000 supra....sorry if i have gone into one but what you say is NOT true...it may be different though as i live the UK and its hard to find any decent cars here cause the insurance costs a bomb...i have only seen one murcielago here and it is an awesome sight, the most common cars we get here are clamped out old european cars......

Sean
02-27-2003, 05:13 PM
just because it isn't insanely fast doesn't mean its a shitty car.

GeO_FX
02-27-2003, 05:39 PM
lmao......an au supremo supra would wipe the floor with a corvette....you've probably only seen your own corvette and raced people with old sedans and what you said about wasting your money on a honda.... japanese cars are practical ones.... you couldnt drive the murcielago everyday unless you are rolling in it..you cant get a japanese production car for more than £60,000 anyway

DigitalOxygen
02-27-2003, 06:10 PM
I thought we got past all this east v west crap. Japanese cars are amazingly fast can be tuned fiercely and put out impressive figures (as do the american) and ....and can also go round corners without the driver needing to take a rest every few secs to rest his arms from trying to keep the twitchy tail flying out from all the oversteer.

American cars are fast? yes, american cars look good? well imho most cars in the us look like mince but that's just my opinion, ok the Z06 is pretty smart and the Viper has the mean aggressive bas look down cold but can they go round corners effectively? no.

American cars are great for america, long straight roads, not many turns but for elsewhere they need to actually use the steering wheel. Don't take this as a flame as I have been to many a forum and the same argument happens all the time, you get some proud as punch yank and they start flaming jap cars and saying usa!! usa!! usa is best, it get's tired so let's stop it before it starts!!

Please.

Sorry Menu for one more off topic comment:

I just read an article on the plane today in a magazine I bought at the airport. I cant remember the name but I think it was one of the popular car mags. Anyway in this article the author drove a Z06, a 911 and an NSX. He greatly preferred the NSX over the other two. Which shows that some people still have great enthusiasm for the NSX.

well pennyho you compare 2 totally different types of cars.
one rally car (you probably mean the impreza wrx sti)
and the cruiser vette.
none of them is a real supercar.
of course both are sporty but i´m not which i would choose.
the gas prices here in germany are so high (about 1.35$ per litre!!!)
that i probably would go for the "subaru" but of course i like the corvette it´s a real nice car that has been improved much in the past years.

but i´m more a fan of german cars... more luxus and comfort...
or the total other site the real supercars of Ferrari and Lamborghini.

@ tony
yea that sounds like a nice test.
in june we will have the 24 hours on the nurburgring.
we have a mag in germany called "sport auto"... they test supercars like top gear in england and they are building up and NSX for the 24 hours.
of course they will have no chance against the m3 gtr from the ALMS series or abput 700 hp viper. but i think they will reach a good position under the first 10!
on the nurburgring a good knowledge of the track is important.
second important is the under carriage
and 3. is the power.
if i know the track perfect and would drive a m3 i would easyily beat someone in a mclaren or any ferrari...

well enjoy your sunday!

greets

Marius
