Couple questions. First what's the top speed on the Del Sol V-tech. Second Is there a stronger engine that I can buy with maybe over 300+ Horses. It doesn't have tobe a Del Sol engine. Just one that will fit in the engine bay. Thx

top speed of a vtec del sol is probably around 130-135. as for a motor that has 300+hp to transplant into, we only wish. your best bet is to take the b16 and build it up from scratch. strap on a turbo with a lot of other work, and you should hit that no problem. all it takes is cash.

For starters, it's spelled VTEC, not v-tech, vtech V-Tec, V-teck, vteck, etc. just VTEC.
The del Sol VTEC motor is probably the most reliable for speed, so I've heard....H22 would be fast, but you loose A/C and PS. I've heard of a lot of people throwing in a GSR motor too.
Meanwhile....remember w/ a bigger engine, you're going to have some oversteer/understeer factors.

If you're set on the high horsepower your only reliable choice is to put some forced induction on a b18. You could look into the h22 swap but like it was said in the previous post you're gonna have to loose the AC and power steering. Your modding choices depend on how you use your car.
