I saw what the old war monger had to say. I'm not too pleased to know that something might happen in the next few days and these friggin' politicians have no clue as to what or where. This is exactly why I can't understand how a government that claims to be the leader in this and that, won't spend a few dollars on something so simple as security. I believe he said it last night or some other time, this made me feel a whole lot better when he was quoted as saying that they spent under 100 million on Airport security. Yet they spent 10 billion in biochemical weapons and such. That's why these arseholes chose the airlines cause it would be easier to do damage with that than with a weapon. I wonder now what plans do they have to secure what little security we have left.

they're really going to be increasing security now though

and who would have expected or even thought of something like that happening? They probably expected that terrorists could take over planes.... but who would think they would kill themselves?

From the sounds of it, they are going to put the security at airports as part of the government payroll. That way the airlines wont be able to use security cuts to help their bottom line.

That is what they should do!! These airlines really only care about the money that they make and/or save. At least the government won't be as strict with expenditures.

the U.S. is like the only country that doesn't do airport security, it's the airlines job
everywhere else the government takes care of security
