I ve got the very same, and so I did apply it :
First, make sure your paint is thick enough (has enough clear coats on it if it's metallic or race car)
Then take an old cotton t-shirt, or a rag, put a little bit of compound on it, and gently rub it in in circular motions, don't rub too hard, or you 'll end up making holes in your paint-job. when you think it's enough rubbed, take a clean cloth and rub the part clean, tae the compound out of panel lines and then there you go, should be a clean and shiny paintjob.
