started my Impreza yesterday, heres how far i gotten so far..

Did you hand brush or use air brush it? Looks very nice!:cool:
Any tips on how you did it.

did it by hand, used water based paints fined down n just took my time

That's funny, I use those as well. Though usually when I don't have the appropriate Tamiya color on hand. Only paint I have that doesn't stick well to an unprimered surface. Great range of colors though.

Clean, yes...

maybe a bit too much ?
I think it would look better if just thje tinyest bit of weatering is applyed on the exhaust, a bit of clear orange and clear blue drybrushed on it should do the trick

Just a suggestion, for an otherwise sweet looking build

Welshy, did you find the suspension hard to paint on this model? I've been told it was molded to the chasis. You doing such a good job on your suspension has me inspired to buy one. Thanks in advance.

its molded on but i didn't find any problems painting it

t-cutted and waxed the body tonight, done the brakes n wheels etx got the worse part to come doing the windows ;(

looks great. I like the rims, but I think they'd look better on a black car. Great paint work. Can't wait to see it finished.
