Anyone have or know where I can find instructions on how to remove the driver's side interior door panel on my 96 Chevy Tahoe?

remove two philips #2 screws from hanldle, gently insert flat blade screw driver or panel removal tool between door handle assembly and trim bezel, pry slightly to release clips of bezel (4) and remove bezel from panel, pry gently on the back side of the window switch panel to release it from door panel and pivot it up and out in the front, disconnect the connector plugs from the bottom side if the switches and the factory tweeter if so equipped, remove small triangular plastic piece in top front corner of the panel by prying gently with panel tool (retainer clips will make a loud pop as long as you're careful it will be ok, pry retainer clips around outter edge of panel (will make the same loud noise just be careful) once all clips have been released the panel is removed, only thing left to do is remove the panel light by rotating the receptacle

It helps to be able to visualize the 'clips' that hold the panel on the door. A neoprene 'collar' is permanantly snapped into holes in the door. the inside of the collar is notched to receive plastic screw-looking doo dads that are attached to the panel. As you pry the edges of the panel straight out (not up), the screw doo dads make a popping sound, which is the threads moving out of the 'collar' gizmo. It's kinda scary at first, 'cause it's loud and sounds like youre breaking something. Just pry around the edge of the panel till you find the point of resistance, which is the clip thingy, then pry kinda hard and it will pop out without breaking. kinda like the serrated edge on a wire tie, but it's designed to go in and out without breaking, but it takes some serious prying. DONT lift up on the panel like a lot of cars, that just wont work.
