This kit is done for 2 month now .. but I was waiting for Marlboro decal... Yesderday, I have printed my own sheet of decal and applyed Marlboro decal on my Mitsubishi. I think it's looking very great for "home made" decals...

So here is 2 pic of my Evo 7 and Evo 5... you can see 3 other pics on my web site here (http://pages.infinit.net/magietec/models/) in the Racing car section

Hope you enjoy

Looking good.
It's sad that Mitsubishi doesn't compete in this years WRC.

Looks so much better then just having white boxes on the car.
Mmmmmmm EVO's, my favorite :)

Maybe a good write up on how you made the decals so we could add it to the FAQ ?;)

Black Marlboro lettering is pretty easy to make and print. The font is called Bernard MT Condensed. The problem is unless you have an Alps Printer you cannot print white. Did you make the white Marlboro for the rear of the car? If so how? I was going to my own but I needed the white so I bought the decals from HLJ. You did a great job on both oof the Evos.

Very cool. Lancer looks so much better in Marlboro livery than the 206 does!

Bit of a stutter there SuPeRcAr_MaN?

Excellent work!!

Isn't the Tamiya Evo 7 kit of a car that ran in an event that has no Tobacco ads like all the rest? Have you had to alter the event its from?

The car you made represents the 2002 Monte Carlo version driven by Alister Mcrae, and the car indeed ran without Marlboro markings :) But who cares? ;)

Did you use an normal printer for your decals?

Vric,

You are right with the Marlboro decals, I think you will find that the car ran with and without Marlboro decals on the Monte.

Cigarette advertising is not allowed in France so on the stages the car ran with white blanks, but for the start and finish ceremonies in Monte Carlo, which is a separate country to France where the advertising is allowed the Malboro decals were in place, even the drivers have a different pair of overalls with the sponsorship on.

It'S Laser Only paper... I made a profesional Printing by a store.. cost me 1$ each sheet to print and 2$ each sheet... with the Liquid Decal Film, it cost neat 3.50$US for a 8½/11

If you didn’t said I thought all decals were factory ones :D
Both models are great Vric. The Evo VII with the Marlboro decals look far better than the no tobacco version. I continue to say that is sad that the manufactures don’t put the two types of decals inside de box (without making publicity to the tobacco in the box).
The photos with the mirror effect are great too. :)
