On trucks, the usual way to slam them is by flipping the rear axle from under the leaf springs, to over. And for the front, flip the left and right spindles, should let em sit lower. I've never done that particular kit, but I've done a few trucks and a lot of them have similar setups.

Man I wanted that engine ! :D

COol thing though, your lucky.

Now this will be very interesting, putting a diablo engine into a truck, hmmm. ;)

I would make this a future project since you're pretty new to modeling, right.

But hey if you want to have some fun and get better, go for it.

I still can't stop thinking what it would be like having a V12 in the back of you truck.

I remember seeing a truck on the net I think similar to what your trying to do, I'm gonna search for it.

GOoD LUCK ! :frog:

The leaf springs are the long strips, and in some cases, the axle is set to rest BELOW the leaf springs, but you'll want to FLIP it over on top of the springs, as in the picture.

This is my revell silverado chassis with the lowering job done.

It's difficult to see, but the spindles have been flipped left and right.

The spindles are shaped like:

[]
[]= <-Stud for the wheel.

So when you flip left and right,

[]
[]= <Wheel is raised up.

The rear, where the axle is above the leaf springs.

I believe the ram vts comes with a slightly lowered stance, and most trucks are around 2"+ higher in the rear. If you can't adjust the front suspension, you'll at least have a leveled out stance.

It's really up to your own ingenuity and observations to see how to lower that truck. There's no defined way to lower suspensions due to each kit differing in how they are setup. I've given you somewhere to start, so why not take a look at the parts and see what you can do?
