Nissan glues their threads on shift knobs....remove the entire shifter assembly from the bottom of the car, cover the knb with duct tape-park a car with large sidewall tires over the knob and use a large thingamabobber as a lever through that one hole that i can't remember a name of.....wait i just remembered there's a link to this at se-r.net....

That one is really easy. You take off the hood lining (you don;t even have to take the whole thing off, just open the seide where the nozzles are. The nozzles clip in place and you have to press the clips to the nozzle and it will come out to the outside. You can disconnect the line either before you remove the nozzle or after.
Really, once you can see under the hood lining (use a flashlight), I will become absolutely apparent what you need to do.
Good luck

Don't bother removing your shifter. You can get the nob off with the shifter in the car. Just use a towel, if you don't want to damage your nob , and then use a pipe wrench like the one in the pic below. Or you can use a big set of pliers.

*wonders if he should have been able to remove his with nothing more than bare hands and brute force*
Guess I ate my Weetibix that morning ;)
(not sure if the American crowd will understand that joke - do you guys have weetibix over there?)

ok I bought me a new metallic blue shifter knob, and I got in the car, and my best friend ken was sitting in the passengers seat, and i'm like "ok lets go to your house cuz you have tools so I can put this thing on" and he's like 'just unscrew it" and he grabs it with one hand, and before he even tried to put some force into it it just came right off, it probably would have came off by itself soon anyways, thats strange, but good :-D anyways thanx for all your help everyone, and those LED lights, they dont really SUCK but it depends like, i've seen green ones on a red truck, ugly as sin, but then ive seen white ones on a black car, that looked nice.
