Guys,
I have a KA24DE (140K km/88K miles) with auto tranny for sale. The engine has good compression, doesn't burn or leak oil.
Anyone interested??

you're located in Montreal? i'm in Toronto and i'm about to buy a '90 240SX hatchback that has a hole in the block of the KA24E, so i would need to get a new KA24 to stick in there until i can afford the SR swap. how much would you be selling it for?
also, can i take the auto tranny off and hook up the manual that's already in the car that i'm buying?

yes, you can. check out this site for info on how to do it on an S14. I'm sure it's pretty similar for the S13. http://www.240sx.org/links/installs/s14_5speed_swap.htm

I will be contacting you regarding the pricing.
Wow a hole in the block, the KA is a solid engine and you don't see too many of those happening.

yeah i was pretty surprised when i first heard it too. that's just from what the owner has told me. i've checked out the car but not the engine because the hood latch is broken, haha. so it might even be something else, all's i know is then engine is fried somehow.
