Engine size my friend. 4.0 Liter vs 3.0 Liter. And obviously alot of power.

Think of the V8 SC400 as the 5.0 liter Mustang GT...a serious car. Then think of the inline6 SC300 as the bottom of the line V6 Mustang....a joke.
Not to be calling any Toyota a joke but if power is the reason your looking at SCs, a 400 is the only one to go with. Thats not to say the 300s in line 6 isnt much to work with, it has potential. (Supra parts!)

My 5-speed SC3 could beat SC4 any day.
I really think you should REPHRASE "Then think of the inline6 SC300 as the bottom of the line V6 Mustang....a joke."

you need to do a little research before calling an sc300 a joke. the fact is that the sc300 shares basically the same motor as the supra. therefore, there are aftermarket turbo kits available for the sc300. a supra tt swap can be done in the 300 as well. the sc400 has basically a nonexistent aftermarket support. i would go with an sc300 anyday over an sc400. in fact, i do have an sc300.

these cars both have their share of happiness.
out the box,the sc400 is strong, and thanks to our friends down under, has a supercharger kit in the works...should be released in 4 weeks. 3 stages available
the sc300 can be turbo'd like no one's business, or just swapped out with the 2jzgte and seriously modded up the wazoo
Meanwhile, i am loving my v8 power and look forward to my supercharger upgrade

Lately ive been considering an SC400 over an SC300 due to the fact that it is a V8 and i wouldnt have to do much to the engine to make it as quick as i want it at first.
But i cant FIND ANY THING in the way of performance except borla shit.
can any one give me some links to some SC400 Performance sites.???
