I was at work tonight and it had been raining and I was trying to jerk the front end around for the first time. When I put it in reverse and yanked the e-brake I heard a thud. Now there is a scrubbing sound. What could it be?

your muffler fell off and is now dragging? :p
LOL, I guess you would notice the noise increase, man I dunno what it could be.

check around. take off the drums and see if anything looks out of place or anything. Is there still tension when you pull up the e-brake or does it just go all the way up without resisting? Good luck.

Se if you can get someone to crawl around your car and listen while you're driving to locate the noise.
You may have something in the rear brakes messed up and a shoe is dragging. After driving the car, smell around the rear wheels. If it's dragging, it should stink like hell.
