B16A or ZC D16A8/A9

This would be going into a 93 civic? Which one would you choose and why?

Either would go in. B16A is the only choice.

Which would would be a more reliable engine?

reliability is about the driver and the maintenance with a honda engine. they will all last very long with the right maintenance and no abuse

I decided to go with the d series engine cause it just bolts up unlike the b16a where i would have to change the tranny and get new mounts.

well its your car but i think you should seriously consider the b16. youll enjoy it a lot more.

Its kinda too late now, i know id enjoy it more but it would cost almost as much as the b16a2, so its not really worth it for me, seeing as i also need a paintjob.

I wish I had gotten a new B16 from honda... Now I'm building one of the most difficult engines to find parts for... Course I'm gonna hit at least 200 Hp ;)
