tranny swap

im doin a tranny swap on a 97 civic ex i got a 98 dx tranny, flywheel for 50 bucks and the thing only has 20k miles on it i dont know what other parts i will need to do the swap any info you could give me would be great and if any one could tell me the gear ratios for the dx tranny i would be greatful :)

shouldnt need anything to do the swap as long as your keep manual to manual and not converting from auto to stick.

sorry i forgot to say that i am changin from a auto to 5 spd

You need the manual tranny, shift linkage, whole new pedal assembley, and I hear its also good to use a manual ecu cause the fuel maps are different. I'm assuming it's a hydro tranny so you need all those components which I'll warn can be a pain in the ass to install.

you also need the slave unit. thougout bearing, the fork thing. and the clutch master cylinder. and a nuetrual safty switch...
