WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF AN LSD (LIMITED SLIP DIFF.) TRANSMISSION OVER NON LSD

an LSD tranny will provide better accelration as well as traction over a non lsd tranny, cornering and handling power will also improve.

yes it is. i compared my friends lsd to mine non lsd and you can feel a difference. lsd is the way to go. instead of all the power going to one wheel, with lsd you have it going to both wheels which will give you more power and better take offs.

There are some rare ZC transmissions that came with a factory LSD. You could also just get a quaife LSD if you have an Si trans mated to your ZC

WOULD IT BENEFIT ME TO KEEP THE SI TRANSMISSION AND GET A quaife LSD OR GET A ZC TRANSMISSION

Well, the quaife LSD runs around 800 bucks plus install so it is quite pricey. I would suggest that route even though it is pricey. LSD equipped ZC transmissions are becoming very hard to find so you might not be able to find one.

if you could get the final gear ratio from the SI tranny, swap it into your ZC tranny, then LSD that.
that way you have good accelration and top speed gearing, plus LSD.

get a good clutch, and run a good synthetic tranny fluid, like red line or royal purple.

Try to see if KAAZ makes LSD for your tranny. I'm pretty sure they do. LSD is always a good choice to go with.
