what would be better

i have a chance to buy two different cars. The first one is a Mitsubishi eclipse 96 gs-t turbo with about 1k already into it for 8k. or i can buy a Honda Crx only 90k miles for 2.5k then with all the extra money from buying this one get a new engin and a turbo kit. the eclipse is silver the crx is red if that matters any.

CRX by a mile u could have it maxxed with the extra cash

Personally if I could afford it I would go for the eclipse.

if i max it out what type of engin should i place in there. A b16 or just go with the b18 and if i chose the b18 can i fit a turbo in it?

Thats a tuffy....but honestly I would probably take the eclipse.

Sorry to say but DSM sucks! Mostly everyone that i know that have one always fuck up on them. Drivetrain is awful! Go with a rex or any honda or nissan!

I am with Mellow, dont get a Eclipse. I have a couple of friends that own some, and they both have had MANY problems with them. Things that have happened to them are, brakes have totally gone out while driving, interior pannels just fall off, and like Mellow said, the drvetrain is not the best at all. Go with the CRX, a little more potential, and a LOT less weight than the Eclipse. :flash:

Thanks guys I will buy the crx then. I was also wondering what kind of parts should I buy to get the most hp and the best sound? Also if you have a crx or know about the body kits can you tell me what some of the good ones are?

personally i woulda gotten the eclipse but you can have one of the nicest crx's if you have like 6g's lying around...as for things you should get its really a personal suggestion, i mean i can tell you what i like and such but its all personal opinions...If it was me I would get a b18 then turbo and then just get an invader body kit..

the best thing to do is research on the internet and see what you like :)

Its definetly a tuff choice but I think you'll be happy with the rex if thats what your gonna get...I still love DSM's, although the 2nd gen was the worst built model.

Thats a totally custom job. They dont sell kits like that. U have to buy piece by piece. Those look like supra tail lights. You have to buy wide body for it. THe rear bumper looks like a black widow with some custom work done to it.

if you want a kit like that goto www.grounddesigns2000.com and check out the black widow kit for the crx, id agree that the crx is the better of the two plus you can get a b18 and soup it up with all the extra green.

this is just my opinion but eclipses are bitch cars

I'm with mellow...even after you already said you are getting the rex, i figured I'd throw my opinion in here. I have heard from many people that ecplises break down a lot. Yea, with that extra green you could have a nice rex. As for what you could do with it, like everyone else said, its your own tastes. :D

Yea, i agree with everyone else, just get a b18c1 (GSR engine) and turbo that bitch with a rev hard turbo setup for our cars with a b series swap in it!
