My favorite manufacturers are Aoshima, Revell, Tamiya, and Fujimi. I like to build most types of cars but I prefer Japanese high-performance and VIP Touring sedans along with American musclecars. My website has a good idea of what I build mostly. :bandit:

My favourite manufacturer has to be Tamiya, although I've only built 2 kits from other manufacturers. One was a Hasegawa Evo V WRC but I made a balls up of that one. Good kit though, and the photoetched parts are being recycled into my Pug 206 (Tamiya :D).
The other one was a Revell Corvette C5-R which has great engine detail but absolutely awful fit problems. It's on the shelf waiting to be finished and it will probably stay there for some time.
Favourite subjects are WRC and street cars, but I've got a Calsonic R34 lined up for a bit of a change.

Bandai! Oh wait car models. Ok, I like Tamiya quality and detail but I love the subject matter of Fujimi kits. Fujimi detail and scale just blows!
I want to try Aoshima, hoping this will be the happy median between Tamiya and Fujimi.

Hm, I haven't built anything but Tamiya and Revell, so I'd have to say them. And their street cars. I'm getting into rally modeling, though...

Bandai's car models are good. They produced many detailed car models in 1/20 scale. The last one was Nissan Be-1, which was 1/24 scale curbside.
I'm still hunting for 1/16 Porsche 924.

I know that.
Bandai probably has the most advanced and highest quality tooling technology in the plastic model market.

The one thing that nascar kits are good for is racing parts if you can find them cheap on ebay.

I also really like rally cars but I don't see any in my near future! I do enjoy seeing the build-ups when they post pics. :)

Mainly build rally kits, nearly all Tamiya, but those I can only get in Hasegawa cause me to venture into Hasegawa land occasionally.

Well I tend to enjoy revell the most because I like building up custom muscle cars the most.
If you want an accurate replica of a car though, it is fallacy to say that tamiya isn't the best.
But lets not flog the dead horse by arguing over which company is better.

Favourite manufacturer: Revell because they make the cars that I like the most and the ones which are in my culture.
Favourite type of build: Streetdrag, mainly musclecars with huge meats out back, lots of chrome, big tower of power & custom paint.
But to me nothing beats a lowrider, ever :D . Theres just something about a car that can move, dance, jump, hop, sway side to side, everything about a lowrider that apeals to me. The style and the colors are wild and the suspension is worth more then the power train. Thats the shit!

I mostly build WRC cars, touring cars and occasionally a 60's classic from Tamiya.
Sometimes I pick up the occasionally Hasegawa kit, just out of curiosity and I must say that these kits are about the same level then Tamiya.
I never buy Revell kits, because I hate the scale (1/25th).

Tamiya has to be my fav. But, I love the variety Fujimi offers. Just built a Revell...not too bad, IMO and the choice is good. Got an Aoshima sitting on my "to-do" shelf.
