Ok guys im new on here and car modding. lol i just found out
I have a short ram intake and not a cold air intake. Now im wanting to make it a cold air intake my modding the lil thing myself.

So that leads to this. I keep reading this stuff about removing my fender well to supply the intake cold air. Well could someone explain this and maybe show me a picture of it or diagram. Thanx guys.

There are several little 7mm screws that hold the trim in around the fender and you have to remove these to access the "bong" or lower portion of the stock intake. Its like a water/ air separator. Its a big friggen thing thats also attached to the washer fluid reservoir. I don't have pics of what it looks like, but its big black and a piece of junk....

Here's my CAI installed behind the fender well liner...

Thats why the "bong" needs to be removed because of how low the CAI filter sits down inside the fender.
