Modelling Music.....

How many of us listen to music while we model? If so, what do you listen to.

I listen to the radio, preferable 103 WFNX (almost all east coast gets FNX) which is all modern rock. Others include Gruvis Malt (local) some underground rap here and there.

never really listened to anything while modeling because of the fact that there wasnt a radio in my basement but if i did, i would be listening to 105.3 / 106.1 / 103.5 / 100.3 / 101.3 / alittle 97.1

Rap Rap and more Rap. an not that crap that you see on mtv, thats just r&b, rapid bullshit.

Occasionally i will listen to Jazz FM, but what i mainly just have the TV on and listen to that. At the moment i'm really into Columbo:D which is on everyday in the mid afternoon - its great!!!

I like to watch TV while making models.

Whatever's in my Hi Fi...at the moment its Rhombus, Fat Freddy's Drop, and The Black Seeds (all NZ bands)

I thought my music was odd. I listen to Bass Techno.. If anyone knows what that is. Its really just music meant for really good Subwoofers in cars. Thats all I listen to.

I listen to a lot of Jazz when modeling sometimes but most of the time I have so many ideas running through my head when I'm in "the zone" I don't really pay attention to what I'm listening to! :grey:

Bass Techno is also good for clubs/Raves. And no I have never been to a rave, although I have had a few friends go to them.

Over Xmas break when I was home working on my model I was watching Comedy Central Stand up Comedy! But when I finally get models upto my dorm room, I will either listen to rap, or my Gone in 60 seconds instrumentals music. No words just all of the backround music! So inspirational :cool:

Different kinds, Heavy Metal and Industrial to Movie Soundtracks and Classical. Sometimes I just turn on the radio and listen to local stations or, if I'm modeling at the right time of night(which is most of the time I'm not working) talk radio...wierd stuff like Coast to Coast AM.

But it really doesn't matter, like tonioseven said, when I get into the groove of what I'm working on it becomes part of the background. Heck I sometimes don't notice when a CD is done until I go to take a break and "notice" the silence.:cool:

I never listened to music while modeling, I usually watch TV but I like to listen to rock and a little rap.

Just have the TV on in the background, but usually have Kerrang on which is a Rock/Metal TV station

Dont really listen to much...most times i have the TV on in the back ground.
If it is music...i like listening to Blues or Rock

if i have music on, it's either christian or old school songs. sometimes i got boyz II men.

When Imodel I usually put on a cd, most of the time one of Moby's and sometimes Röyksopp and Guns and Roses, then sometimes when being fed-up with those I put on the Pc, and listen to Techno, Deep House, Latin House or Hardrock.

I do listen to some music now and then. My moods determines what I listen to. Generally it is trance, rap, etc. However that could change to something very mellow, even classical, when decalling as it is very soothing, chills you out so I don't rush and mess up the decals.

I normally do a bit of both, either watch TV or listen to music. I watch the TV when the football is on (sorry soccer to the US guys) especially when my beloved Liverpool FC are on the box.

Otherwise I listen to a lot of Irish music, ie Christy Moore, Dubliners, Luke Kelly, Wolftones...all Irish Balld Bands, David Gray a little U2 or even a bit of Slowhand himself, Eric Clapton.

when modeling i like to listen to punk rock (good punk) none of that emo crap) anti-flag bad religion, ect... i listen to alota rock too ac/dc areosmith ozzy black sabeth black crows dio motley crue when im doing alota detailing and decals i like to listen to cat stevens tom petty im not really into rap or r&b hip hop ect...

I don't like music these days soo I usually listen to hockey on the radio (Calgary Flames) even though they suck major ass this year but it's my home team.:rolleyes:

I listen to all kinds of metal (bands like Soulfly, Manowar, Kataklysm, Blind Guardian, etc.) and I hate all this HipHop, Techno or Pop crap.

Not bad for a 35-year old he ;) They're still alive and kicking. Are bringing out a new album this year and a Euro tour is planned. I got stuck with them when I was 14 and am still listening, over and over again :bloated: Not only when I model too

I usually listen to anything from Guns'N'Roses, Skynard, Disturbed, Staind, some Hendrix, Tantric, and a few others as far as if I'm in the Rock sort of mood. If I'm in the country mood, I listen to pretty much anything in the category, but my favorites are Clint Black, Randy Travis, and Tracy Lawrence.

I listen to music incessantly while modelling. Combines two of my favourite things! Mostly gutar players, progressive rock and metal.

I go the other direction, I listem to alot of instrumental music. Very mellow stuff like the London Symphony Orchestra and Things from Nobu Uematsu, a famous Japanese composer know for his work in the Final Fantasy Series.

I don't have the luxury of having a T.V in my room to model with, so I crank my stereo full blast and listen to Disturbed, Godsmack, Nine inch Nails and Metallica and AC/DC. Those bands get my blood pumping and put me in a good mood no matter what time of day ;)

I listen to absolute silence cause it gears me down from the bullshit of the daily grind of working for someone to which I am not destined.

ON the East Coast while i do models its between.

92.3 Krock/97.1 hot 97/97.5 KTU/100.3 Z-100/102.7 they play everhing/103.5 good techno on friday nights/ and 106.3 Jersey Shores #1 Rock station/.

I put the videos in for my daughter.
They are the only thing that will keep her away, so i can play with my "toys" HAHA
