I have heard from alot of ppl that it will. So the next delmia, A guy told me that if I want to replace my rod bolts with some new ones (arp) that I would have to take the rods out and take them to a machine shop to have the bore:confused: checked to make sure it is still round:confused: . Has anybody heard of this? I have never heard of it but Iwant to do it if it is needed.
Thanks
Thanks

if your just taking the headbolts off, why would you need to remove the pistons/rods to see if they are still round, it makes no sense.

That is what I was thinking. But this guy said that and I wasn't sure about it. I just wanted to make sure, it didn't seem right to me either. The only tome I could see that being needed is if you were changing the pistons, but your rods be at the machine shop anyway to have the pistons pressed on. I think I will be fine just taking the rod bolts out and replacing the bearings, without taking the pistons and rods out.
