----------------------------------------------

If you are interested in the car, I am going to take bids on it starting at $3,000 through Monday, October 15 at 6:00pm (Arizona time). The winning bidder will have 24 hours to FedEx a money order/cashiers check for the agreed upon price (I will pay the cost for the FedEx).

The winning bidder can pick the car up or I can ship it. For example, Southern California would cost approximately $500 additional. The shipping price would vary based on where it was going.

I drove this car for about four years, and I am happy to talk to anybody about it. I can be reached directly by email at [email protected] or by phone at (602) 740-0426. If I don't answer, please leave a message, and I'll call you back. (Note: On weeknights I probably won't call back until the evening.)

I have photos of the car after the accident, but they are not in electronic format. I am working on getting them scanned right now. I'll email them to anyone who is interested.

Just an FYI to anyone interested......

The person selling this car has greatly inflated the value of those components. discount everything by 25-50% to decide on real value (and don't blame kb - he just passed the info on).

For example, I've priced the gearbox, wheels, and seats specifically and I guarantee you the values are very much inflated.

I want to clarify three points about this post:

***1. I am selling the entire car not the components.*** I listed the components and prices simply as a reference.

2. All the prices came from www.car-parts.com, a national database of automotive recyclers. In most cases the price listed is the above average (but not the highest) price for the part in ARIZONA. I noticed that prices varied greatly around the country, so I restricted my search to Arizona. I cannot defend the prices listed in this database since I am not an expert in parting out cars, but it seems like a reasonable reference. Again, since I am not selling the components, this is not really an issue.

3. The car was in perfect condition before the accident. I can assure anyone interested in this car that the interior is perfect and is deserving of highest value. I cannot speak to the mechanical components of the car except that it has less than 78,000 miles, had all maintenance done at the dealership, and never gave me any problems. I have all maintenance receipts including oil changes. This is a relevant issue, and I would be happy to discuss this further.

I now have two black & white photos of the car after the accident (my scanner only works in black and white). They are approximately 1.5M each for anybody interested.
