sub location

hey i am gonna put some subs in my maxima and i was wonderin if yall had anyideas where to put them. i know some guys here that can make me a custom box for free so if yall have any cool ideas let me know. i was thinkin about putting in 2 12"s. do u think this is a good size for my car. currently i was think of puttin in the audiobahn flame q subs. they make 1,100 watts RMS! thats freaking crazy for being able to get two of them for 200 bucks. i appreciate your suggestions.

ya should make a box thats jus normal, but have the sides kinda rap arounnd and have ur amp and watever else u use, infront of the subs under a peice of plexiglass, that sound good? ya should get a bunch of dynomat and layer ur whole car wiht it, cuz u gonna be bumpin like a mofo with thoes subs

i got a nice box ill sell ya, its 36x13x15. its pretty big, but makes the subs sound good.

Nah I was kinda looking for one smaller, preferably one custom for my 97 max. I have a big box already for the subs that I wanna replace.

thats wat mine was for, if ya push it back as far as it will go, it leaves bout a foot or more of space between the trunk and the box

I am thinking about getting subs too. I was wondering how big I should go. Would two 12'' sound good or should I just go for one. I just want nice clear sounding bass and nothing too loud.

1 sounds good, thats wat i replaced my 2 mtx's with, depends on wat brand u get the way its gonna sound. i have a fosgate he 12" and it sounds very good. wish i had the money to get another one and get a rf amp too.
