Speedo Cable and bumper lights

Okay I need some help with my speedo cable I got it in the right place but nothing happens. Is there a certian way that you have to put it in the hole? I also lost the retaining clip that goes on it. I probably need that dont I??

Also will 88-89 bumper lights work on my 90?

What I am basically saying is, no, they wont work. The 90/91 or longer, and more narrow. The 88/89 are shorter and fatter, and are a solid orange lense.

Yeah the speedo cable has a little key type thing on the end that has to go in a certain way. Try to push it is the tranny a little more. I call the clips fuck clips, b/c when you lose them you will say fuck, b/c face it your going to lose a little clip.

YES they have them for 90-91 too I am glad they let me change. But they are going to be 18+ shipping
