my CRX

I just ordered a fujimi crx and was wonderin if anyone has done this and has pix and/or input on the quality of the model

It still has yet to be completed due to that fact I have no time on my hands, but it should give you an idea on what it's gonna look like.. I still have alot to do on it.

Here are the first pix...i tryed to lower this one but you kno if you have ever tried it is kinda impossible because the back wheels are held on by a metal rod through the frame so i kinda lowered the back onto the frame closer but that is all i could think of...

they aren't stayin that color i am painting the color red so should i make the rims black or silver?

definatly not rice black... dont put spares on either.. if its going red and its going to be slammed i say white is the way to go!

BLACK isn't rice... ie ... Spoon rims are all black.. if anything white is a "rice" color......

they are now aluminum color but it looks like a metallic white so i will have pix soon...and the car is red now also

by the way if anyone has built this model or one like it can ya please tell me how i would go about lowering it...i attached a pic of the bottom so ya can see the suspension is cuz the back is like a rod that goes thru these holes so i thought maybe lower the actual frame but then the interior wouldn't fit

Rice = All show NO GO.... not if something doesnt look good. If something doesn't look good then it looks bad, horrible, or any other word you would like to use. Black wheels don't mean steelies, I know of some "black" 19" wheels that weigh WAY less than 15" chromies.

Hey Man, I think you should have kept them Bronze if you are painting the car red. It looks really nice. I would post it up, but I think it might be too rice for some people :rolleyes:

CRXs seem to be popular kits. I think the real car is ugly, but people have done some pretty nice creative things with the kits. I'm sure this one will turn out great.

And crappy Jap cars are RICERS. That is a name I will always be using to refer to crappy Japanese and Chinese cars that I do not like. No offense fullbloodchop01, but ricer is a common term that will be used continually.

Please don't called them RICE. I don't like it the way you call us ricer or riceboy. I'm from asia and I'm a chinese too, don't like that phrase 'RICE'. Please show some respect to us, it's not fair to all asian modelers here.
