A/C filter change

How do you change the A/C (cabin) filter? I took the dash about half apart before giving up. There's got to be an easier way! Do any of you know of one?

Behind the glove box...should be a little clip on door thingy....

remove the glove box, then you have to cut the part of the dash out you will see the marks. Once thats done remove the metal bracket that supports the glove box, remove the plastic door on the blower box and there you are.

I did mine yesterday. (2002 Odyssey) Indeed I had to cut the plastic bar. Once it is removed, you have easy access to the metal bar, remove the screw at one end, loosen the other screw at the other end just so you can pivot the bar down, and there you go ! Should take about 30 minutes. Dealers also charge 30 minutes to do the job. While this procedure is not documented in the owners manual, it was in the 99 prelude, including the plastic bar cutting part.

Did it once already months ago & about to do it again.
