69 Charger

heres a 69 Charger i've completed, its a revell RT Charger with the motor from a funny car kit. the rims are also from a funny car kit and tyres from parts box. Used woodgrain contact paper (the one thats for covering books) as door and cntre console trim

:eek: That's beautiful. Could we get some engine pics? I'd like to know how that fit into the engine bay, as I've been interested in doing this too. Very nice.

The engine slipped in with no mods as it had a low sump, but i'm trying to remember if the engine was out of a funny car or a rail as one is wider than the other. the only mod to the kit was to grind away some of the rear wheel arches to fit the tyres, and turn the front axles upside down to get the lowered stance

wow thats some great work there, so how long did it take you to get it so realistic, I've not done a model yet but this place is kind of addicting making me want to take part.

Hey I know you, you sent that Cahrger and the Falcon in you sig into Australian Street Rodder magazine didn't you! I saw those ages ago and though, damn why isn't this guy on AF. I havn't been to your site yet, I don't have enough time now. I'll look this afternoon. Love that Charger, I'll get some pics of one I made for my friend while he was overseas. Those rear stripes are bitches to get on, they broke on me :mad:

Awesome looking job on this one. Engine is a wonderful fit into the bay.

What funny car is that engine from? I think it would look good in a replica F&F Charger..

i sent them to the cruizin mag which was the last issue the one with the
55 chev with the 1650 ci mustang (airoplane motor) in it. dont remember aust street rodder if it was do you now wahst issue.
ALso you guys all make it hard now so many great kits on these pages
i'll have to build build build so much insperation here, and its a shame i didn't find this place earlier. Im in modellers paridise
