B16 questions....

ok, as some of you know, I got a b16 w/ LSD tranny, but since it's just chillin' in my garage right now, I figure I need to replace the essentials; timing belt, water pump, etc....my question is, what do I order parts for? Is there some specific model of car I can use, or am I gonna have to mix and match from all years of cars? Next question, since I got the LSD tranny, is there any special fluid I should be using? Next question, I want to get an aftermarket clutch, where's a good place to order from, and what car do I order the clutch for? Next question, I was thinkin' about throwing in CTR cams and maybe the intake manifold too, are there any good sites to pick up Type R stuff from?
Any help is appreciated.:D

i would think you could use parts for a Del Sol VTEC engine b16a3, or the 99-00 Civic Si b16a2, since they are both b16's also...i may be wrong though..i dont know that much about b-series :)

Anything related to just the motor can be sourced from the 95 Del Sol VTEC (obviously the B16A3 equipped model - not the d16z6 si...derrr). This will work for the timing belt, water pump and most everything else on the motor itself (besides the distributor - which you will need a non-OBD JDM B16A distributor and some misc. things on the intake manifold.)
I would recommend using GM syncromesh for your trans fluid. It hold just over 2 quarts (i think it's between 2.1 and 2.3 quarts). The stuff is like $17/quart but it is totally worth it.
You need to order a clutch for a 90-91 Integra. NOT the 92 or 93. The spline count is different on the clutch disk. I'm not sure of a good place to order the clutch from...but i would go for a Centerforce dual friction or a clutchmasters stage II or I.
As far as Type R stuff is concerned...www.jdmhondaparts.com sells that stuff. Ebay and thepartstrader.com also frequently have b16b cams....but im not sure about the intake manifold. If i was you, i'd get the Skunk2 intake manifold.
hope this helped

All of the B series motors are compatable... Hense ls/vtec. You can order all of the parts for the GSR and they will work (header with modification)... I would recomend using other cars with B16's in specific such as the 99 civic SI coupe or as 88CiViC_DX said a DEL SLOW will also work... Cam shafts will be the same and all that ish... But if you want aftermarket suport for the B16A(1?) Go to www.yahoo.com and type in "B16A Performance Parts" you will be drowned! Or if you have a frend who speeks japaniese (I do!) you can have him/her order parts for the SiR from japan which is essentialy what you will have after you swap the engine.
