I know that Revell AG (Germany) has produced and probably is still selling the Diablo. I have a hunch that the kits were produced from the same/similar moulds. Perhaps you could give 'em a try?

I know that I had the AMT Viper GTS, and I messed up the screens. I requested from parts from Revell and they fit (give or take a bit of work).

Couldn't you make it out of plexi glass or clear Styrene?

If I were you I would get the diablo engine, get and ITR and put the engine in the ITR.

Or you could make the chasssis for the diablo and customize the chassis to fit the ITR. I wanted to look for a cheap Ferrari and put the engine in my ITR. I really was looking for a F-50 engine. If I were you I'd use the diablo chassis or engine for something suchas an ITR,.

AMT's Diablo is 1/25 scale, while Italeri (and Revell Germany) kit is in 1/24 scale. Revell USA has its own in 1/24, and so does Fujimi.
So, there are four tools total.
Italeri (and Revell Germany) has the fixed headlight version, while Fujimi has the Koenig version.

I usually use the transparency sheet for the Overhead Projector... it's cheap and thin.
