brake fluid just became your friend then, since it will strip dry tamiya lacquer without a problem
NOTE: brake fluid, not cleaner
Just leave the model in a container with enough brake fluid to cover the model for a couple of days and the paint should dissolve away.

I jsut use the cheap Dot3 stuff they have there that is in a black bottle, you are only stripping paint with it, so I don't think it matters too much what it is.

CSC is castrol super clean degreaser, it is stronger than brake fluid, but it takes a lot longer to strip of lacquer paint.
You can re-use brake fluid, but it tends to lose its effectiveness the more you use it.

CSC = Castrol Super Cleaner Degreaser!
little OT, I was looking through where my mom keeps out cleaner and I saw CSC and I got all excited and then realized it was a hand cleaner :( So make sure you get the degreaser
