Aunnie, Andrea_Aunnie used to be a mod for Purehonda. She drove a black LS integra. Many of you might have remembered her. Just thought I post here since she use to be on this board too. If any of you still are in contact with purehonda members that knew her, please pass on the news.

she did post in the girlie forum, and a few other boards. She was very nice and down to earth. It's a sad loss.

She was a really nice person. I talked to her a few times on this forum. Always a shame when someone passes away. :( She will be missed by friends and family. May she rest in peace.

I never came across her until the very end of January in a "Wat cars do gurls like guys to drive?" thread. Very sorry I didn't get to know her more.
To summarize what happened..
Though here is the story... to start off the newly installed racing seat had NOTHING to do with the accident. In fact the enforcements admitted the seat made it much better than it was... Sadly in this story the reason was because she wasn't wearing her seatbelt.
She was with friends and family, the weather was perfect for us here in the midsouth knew on Sunday... the photos portrayed a gorgous day for a gorgous ride. Aunie had just left her roomates house and was heading to her dads for dinner... not ten minutes away she was coming up on a curve. A truck ahead of her had slown to turn off, instead of slowing she cut around the truck and cut back into her lane... In doing so she upset the car causing it to enter into a slide then into a ditch, the car performed one roll where it came to rest. During this she was loose being tossed inside the car.
The motorcycle was behind her stopped, taking his boot and shattering out her window came up to her... He said, "There were no words, no blood... just a gentle moan as she passed......."
i am a very upset friend. this JUST happened at 5:30 today. she lost control of her car on a curve and flipped it. she was pinned inside. she was partially thrown out of the pass. side window and broke her neck. they didnt get her out until 9:00. they did more damage to the car getting her out then she did.
Please wear your seatbelts, folks, you never know when it might save your life. :(

DAMN :( In my time on automotive message boards, this is the third or fourth person I have come across on-line that has died. Each of them has passed in an automobile-related accident, one way or another, which I imagine as a question of "numbers" is a primary (if not the primary) cause of death for people "our" age.
Very very sad. RIP Aunnie.
