Help removing door panel - 97 Deville

I have a 97 Deville, and I need to remove the interior passenger door panel in order to get a damaged place repaired or replaced.

I am concerned about the side air bag.

How would you go about removing the panel without damaging or setting off the airbag.

Is there any documentation or diagrams available on the net to help a do it yourselfer tackel this job?

I have a 99 deville and i took off my door pannels to change speakers it isvery simple there is a couple scews and then the door panel slides up the airbag is connected to the door pannel dont worry about it it is toatally fine my good friend works at cadillac he gave me the info. very easy job
