High Flow Cat

I finally put on my OBX high flow cat. It is ALOT better than stock. Apparently, it is illegal to put a igh flow cat on 1996 cars or newer. Did it with the help of my dad and garndpa. It was kinda funny to see one side of my car 3 feet in the air when it was jacked up. After each shift, the beginning of the next gear has a lot more power and the high rpms obviously have more power. I kept the stock cat. cover to make it look like it is stock (because california cops suck and it is a huge ticket) but had to use some washers in between the cover and metal plate to keep it from vibrating. I highly recommend! Exhaust sound did not change (if it did it was minimal).

Just got one myself. It's called a test pipe. OBX call their straight pipes high flow cats or test pipes because it's illegal. A catylitic converter is supposed to filter out engine emissions. Take a look in the " high flowcat ". No filters.:smoker2:
