RandomTech Cat?

Has anyone replaced their catalytic converter with something less expensive than stock? I was considering a RandomTech, but haven't gotten around to measuring for it. If someone has, particularly if you got a RandomTech, could you please share some info?

Thanks,
Jim

Morbert,

Do you have a picture of the cat on or off your p10?

Thanks,

That's an amazing price! Is it OBD-I or OBD-II? Will it pass emissions? Is it a direct fit replacement for stock? Who makes it? Is this a one-time offer, or can a whole bunch of us order them?

A huge thanks in advance,
Jim

A huge thanks in advance,
Jim Ok here is the rundown. it is a universal cat. The maker is OBX but, many of my friends have them on their car, it's just as good as the more expensive brands, if not better just because you saved 100-200 dollars. You can order as many as you want, just let me know. It should pass emisions, I havent seen a car that doesnt pass with one of these on, but just like a lot of perfomance parts, its not guaranteed. If you would like you can talk to me in person. I live in WA so keep that in mind when calling, I am not avalable between 6am and 5pm you can leave a message if you would like. My number is 1-253-846-5998 If anyones interested, let me know. THe name is TAO I will help you as much as I can. So if you have any questions let me know. Hope to do business with you and hope to hear from you soon. THank you. :alien: :bloated: :licker: :smoka:

Sorry - I'm still thinking about it. I am hoping someone else who has used an OBX cat will chime in and say whether they liked it. I wasn't planning to do my cat until the Spring when I did headers and shifter bushing. Is this a one time generous offer, or do you think you'll still be able to make a similar offer in June?

Thanks,
Jim

If you go to obxracingsports.com you can see some of the cats that they offer. The ones that I am selling is a universal, and does not have the black tips it is all chrome. Looks good. The middle diameter is a little bigger and looks more agressive. I can't offer this for much longer. But if you bought one or so now, then, maybe at a later time we could do business again. If you want to find out more, do some internet research, or open a thread here! that will work too. But if you buy one now, you wouldn't be out too much money if you didn't like the cat. I highly doubt that you will be disapointed. Let me know what you think. Thanks.:alien: :bloated: :licker: :smoka:
