How much longer for the E46 M3??

I accidentally first posted this in the M forum, 'cause I didn't see this one. My bad.

I'm just curious how long BMW will produce the current E46 M3. What's the last year they're going to make it? I'm hoping we can expect it through 2005, can anyone confirm? I'm saving my pennies, and I know it'll be here through 2004, but 2005 is what I'm hoping for.

And does anyone know if the pending 3-series facelife is going to affect the M3 at all?

TIA! :)

The E46 M3 should last well into 2006. It will not be facelifted like the coupe/cabrio. Same everything, only news is the imminent arrival of the CSL

That's ridiculous, the M3 has an abundance of power already and a magnificent chassis to boot. If you're really desperate for more performance the M3 CSL should cover your wish.... much more than that just doesnt make any sense.. if raw power is all youre after buy a japanese tin-can and tune it to 1000bhp... but then that wouldnt say much about your appreciation of motoring
