Pieces from the actual shuttle are evidence to the crash, and anyone selling them can be prosicuted by the United States Govenment.

Debris is illegal... so much as touching it will land you a jail sentence, as if the scolding of your hands from the chemicals and giving yourself cancer wasnt bad enough.

Damn,

"Bids for an STS-107 mission patch was at $US30,100 up from a starting bid of $US4.95."

The seller is probably both jumping for joy and feeling guilty as hell at the same time...

Only if the seller placed the item on sale before the tragedy.check the timings to spot the ghouls.

Yeah I suppose. But then again with something like a patch it could just be somebody that didn't want it anymore cause it reminded them of the tragedy, was only asking $5 for it and ended up getting $30,000...debris on the other hand is 100% ghoul
