Here is the Aston Martin LM Vantage...
This car had the more powerful of two engine options that produced 600bhp and pushed the V8 Vantage, a car shaped to tear the atmosphere apart rather than glide through it, to 60mph in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 200mph. Think about it for a second. In 2000, the McLaren F1 had been long out of production, the Bugatti EB110SS was but a distant memory, and VW's supercar aspirations (the Veyron and the Nardo) a distant, and highly unlikely, possibility. At the end of the millennium, the Aston Martin was the world's most powerful stock production car. The fact that a car that weighs just slightly under five thousand pounds (4370lbs) could be pushed to such speeds makes it that much more incredible. Like a traditional Aston Martin, this was a car that didn't pay more attention to the surroundings than a British aristocrat would pay to a fly in his Chardonnay. The V8 Vantage LeMans was a highly sophisticated, highly luxurious grand tourer that just pushed on, utilizing the immense power stored under the bonnet, to go on and on. That is what true British supercars are about. :) This car started out in 1999 as a concept. It was produced in 2000 were only 40 of these were ever made. Here are some specifications for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage LeMans V600.....
