2003 Jetta GLX Price

I am looking to trade my 2001 Acura CL for a 2003 Jetta GLX. Over the Internet about the best price I can get is $28,200 (incl. tax, tags, etc) out the door (this is compared to the sticker/retail price of $31,047 out the door).

My friends think I'm crazy and should offer more like $26,000 out the door. I got really screwed on my Acura and don't want to make another mistake. I am in Phoenix, Arizona. Anyone else have an opinion?

if you're looking at jettas, get the gli with the 24v vr6..

you'll be happy you did that... 20 extra hp, 6 spd...

all the goodies... nice 17in rims factory...

it'd be worth it to me...

yea,but i would get the 1.8 one and then get great rims for it or do whatever u want but i hear the .8 is the best for tuning;)

Well it depends on what you consider to be better
1.8T=easier and faster to tune but less dissplacement
VR6=harder to tune but higher hp potential

ps- I like your pics D[X]P and Genesis2

so i said go with the vr6 24v in the gli...

you said go 1.8t.
then you said you agree with me.

which is it?

1.8t is easier to tune out of the box, easily will make 400hp on stock internals.

but you could turbo the vr6 and make even more hp... like eip's turbo'd vr6 with 658hp...

it's all about how much you wanna spend...

low dollar build, both are good, you'll end up with the same power...
but if you're going to put about 5 greand into both, go vr6, you'll end up with way more hp than a 1.8t with 5k into it...

ok- i guess i agree wiht u now but i think that both are great for tuning so its up to u

personALLY i wouldnt wana spend a lot so i would get the vr6 24v

The GLX is a VR6 too, and it has a lot more goodies than a GLI.

so a glx would be a good thing to tune?

:p No No No their the same both 200hp VR6s but the GLX is a 5speed automatic so I would take the GLI, but mod wise both would be the same to tune pretty much.

You dont really need a wing not many cars do. In order for a wing to have any affect you have to be going over 140mph but how often will you be doing that;) So I woundnt get a wing they just create drag but I have admit I kind of like the look of SOME wings on SOME cars(NOT HONDAS)
