I was rallying around in the colt, had just gotten some gour-may food down at la del taco, and I come acoss a red light "damnit....complete stop, THEN first...man I wish I had those modern syncros"

To my left rolls this hopin hot 82 civic *or some year like it, pretty beat* I look over, the 56 year old azn looks over. I throwsome reves, but he just looks forward. "thats righ... be afraid of my speed machine" Light turns and he goes! "HOOCH!, GO RACE CAR GO!" I bog it not expecting him to go for it but come screaming after, my engine climing fast in 1st, probally redlining, or way past *shifting at 6-12K...no tach just when my ears start to bleed* Without taking my foot off the gas I hit the clutch and slam it down to 2nd, fast as an auto tranny! (I'm just that fly) I'm catching up, my engine winding up the rpm's singing like a bottle of bee's. Riping with speed, the whole car starts to shimmy a lil as I catch up to his door, raming it into 3rd I'm almost ahead, at a dangerous 43mph. My wide 3rd gear taking longer to spool! I scream in victory "UUURRRRRRRRURNNNNNNEEAAAAAAGGGLLLACCCCCKKKK!" and pop it into my last gear...4th. Rollin at a screamin 55 I go flying over the bridge, and the containers full of used oil in the back of my flyin hatch go bouncing and sloshing around everywhere!.

All in all, a good kill

You dont want to mess with T.V s colt. Its a beast, a real beast. And T.V is not one of those people who ya dont want to meet in a dark alley. So, a word of advice Dirk, I would back off why you still can.

I think TV wished for modern synchro's... which leads me to beilieve that he may have synchros in there, just ones that are no good... but eh.. whatever...

Hmm I read your other post term about the colts and im a bit older and have been away from the car scene for many years but I happen to have a 84 twin stick turbo colt thats not far from stock from all I can tell, It came from the org owner and had sit in his barn for many years....but has been raced since day one, ive all the paperwork on the warrenty trans and such it went through. This was a scca auto cross winner in its day.

My point is im not sure what times the newer stock cars are running but all ive done to mine is the exhaust, boot valve and thats about it. Whats a surprise to me is that at 13-14 psi boost im hitting consistant mid 13`s I know this to be close as im running against my friends gn which runs consistant mid 13`s also every other week at the local track on street night. My car seems to have different injectors than org. but im not sure what they are....info is hard to find so far for me on this car. And also the fact that its shows 118k on the od. So im not sure what to think as its had only 8k miles since 89 6k of which I put on it....when I got the car I had to drain and fulsh the tank, new pump and filter and I also replaced the t-belt and adjusted the valves....so does anyone know much about this car, a turbo twin stick colt?
