How about a Deep metallic Purple with gold accents throughout the body and frame? I would also do the frame the same color as the body if it were mine but it's not so I'll shut my mouth now. :)

I would paint it purple or a nice burgandy to set off the gold in this kit. I also would have painted the floorpan gold with a purple frame, or flat black with a gold frame. But it is all up to you :smoka:

They are nice, but they are something I would put on a stock El Camino. Like TURBO said: Lowrider Car = Lowrider rims. I think it will look good with the gold from too. :smoka:

Yeah I agree that it would look crap all gold, not many lowriders look good like that.

Really? I just chucked a 454 Chevy Prostock big block in mine :D

Lowrider Car = Lowrider rims

Not always. I think that wires look bad on any lowrider truck, wires being the only true lowrider rims.
Hey what are you going to do with those wires Porkchop? Its looking great so far though, I put the lowrider suspension setup in mine but I didn't make it the lowrider version, saving the wheels for a custom Impala. I think that black or red would look sweet on that as it is now.

Lowriders4Life ill probly just chuk em in a box see how they look on somin else... so do u like the deeps? i think it gives it a drag look and i think it will look amazing in a deep metalic purple.. ill put it thru photoshop and post it brb

ChopinPorkChop, Why not go with the turbo setup for the car. I have the same kit and turned mine into a dragster. I think yours would looke killer with the turbo and the side pipes like you plan.

ChopinPorkChop
02-01-2003, 08:38 PM
well if i want to convert to drag now, then there isnt a use for the hydros in the back...

Bong_the_Monkey
02-01-2003, 10:10 PM
ChopinPorkChop, I wasn't suggesting that you make your El Camino a dragster, I was saying what I am doing to mine. I was wondering how come you didn't opt to use the turbo that comes with the kit.

ChopinPorkChop
02-01-2003, 10:37 PM
i knoe, i want it to be a drag, and i dont know y i didnt put it in in the first place but Out with the old and In with the turbo

Looking good Porkchop but a V8 would be alot bigger, and better looking. Well if you don't find any models that you want to put the lowrider equipment on, I'll be glad to trade you something for them.

Metalic green d00d.

Look at the owners manual in an auto parts store for wiring diagrams and pictures of the engine compartment. THen get various hozes and wire sizes to make it look all good under da hood G !

Drill out the holes where the wires will route to , and do it before you complete the kit or paint the engine. it will be less confusing unless you need to have BLING BLING chrome. then add the prepainted parts and wires later, but drill first, then glue.
