fuel pressure 88 hatch

i have a 88 dx hatch. I have an intake and a apexi N1 muffler with 2 1/2 in pipes and high flow cat. What im wondering is can I get a feul pressure regulator and boost the fuel since i now have added air? Will this even make a difference or am I just wasting my time? I am doing either a b16a or b18b swap this summer, but my dx is just soooo slow i need some more power... HELP!!!

It won't make any significant hp increase. I wouldn't spend the money, just save it for the new motor!
