Did you replace the throwout bearing on the mainshaft of the gearbox?

Whine ? When the clutch is in, out, all the time, accelerating, shifting what ? I need more info.

i had the same problem. I broke the gearbox and replaced it with the same one.:(

Now i just shift slower than before, it's the only way to keep it ok i guess.

So is it gear oil, motor oil ? Is it auto or manual ?

I would never put motor oil in a transmission. I always put in something a little heavier like a 90w gear oil, i would say to change that and than see if you still get the whine.

It whines when your just accelorating a little bit and its like a whiring in first and second, (the same as the old gearbox), I don't know wot oil they put in it but I would have thought it would be the right stuff coz the garage is pretty good usually.
