hey everyone.
just became a member of the forums. had someone from tinyimports.com refer me here. I want to start modifying my model cars. i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a R34 V-Spec II in canada, preferably in Toronto, Ontario.
1/18 scale would be nice, since im a first timer at this.
i was also wondering if someone can recommend an appropriate thickness for a styrene sheet and if anyone can send me a pic of how to properly and effectively use them when modelling the body kits, that would be sweet. (like 2 or three pics showing how to mount and surround them with putty and whatever). I'm usually good a crafts and things, so i was wondering where i should start.
Blitz Skyline. ? :D

Or Bomex Skyline.

Don't worry bout the difficulty factor for me being a n00b. i usually do things correctly when im properly educated. so if someone can post some styrene method pics and a suggestion of what kit i should start.. i should have my first car within the following months. :)

I would start with the Blitz car as the Bomex looks WAY more involved.
I wish you the best of luck

i was just at the Bramalea City Centre Mall in Brampton today and at the hobby shop there, they had ONE VSpec II left. i was about to buy it, but has insufficient funds on my person. it was $38 CDN by the way. a good place to start for Japanese models in Toronto would be a place called Pacific Mall in the Chinese sector of Markham. it's at Kennedy Road and Steeles. there's at least 4 stores in that mall that are dedicated to 1/24 scale car modelling. check it out sometime!

Pacific mall is the single place where you need to go and get models. They have the 1/24 Spec V II there as well as 1/18 autoart spec V II as well. everything u need, one stop. No tax. cheap deals..
Pmall: 4300 Steeles Ave East. north east corner of Kennedy and Steeles.
