Pictures of wiring DPFI to MPFI??

I am confused with the wiring on the DPFI to MPFI swap. I am reading up on it now so I am ready to do it when the weather get warmer. I am mostly confused on the wiring at the ECU. When it is telling me to switch pins do they mean inside the ECU??? Also, how do I know what pin is what? Any help or pics would help out a lot! Thanks

"switch pins" means to take the wire off of one pin and put it on another. this is all done at the harness. you do not have to take the ECU apart.

the MPFI swap can be really easy, or really hard depending on you. Just take your time slowly and make sure that you solder and shrink tube all connections. You dont want to get your swap all together only to find out that you didint solder one wire and now your car dont run :bloated:

as for pics or diagrams, do a search and you should be able to come up with something.

i was told last night that the March issue of Honda Tuning has DPFI to MPFI conversion info. i haven't checked it out yet however thought it was worth mentioning

i have an import magazine that i got last year that has the step by step with pics...i can either put it up here of scan it into .pfg format and sent it to you oncei i find it....if you want

What month and year abouts? I will look in mine....I did not know they did one too.

WOW! I have not been on this board in a while (Michigan winters tend to put a damper on thinking about car mods) I fogot how sweet this place is!

Actually..I have found this is the simplest diagram...cuz they expect you to know a basic understanding of what you are trying to accomplish...and that you have a little common sense.

All this wire A8 to C7, extend this, blah blah...stuff confuses me from the actual process...connect this pin in the ECU to this wire in the engine bay...that seems to be what this diagram does..I like it :D

Well, when I eventually go to do it I do plan on taking pics of it. :D
