It will have 265 hp in V6 engine with FWD. Its coming out in June. UGLY!!! My last maxima that I will buy will be 2003 6 speed with I DONT CARE HOW MANY MILES on it!!!! Anywho... The 2004 maxima will be dramatically raised in price. Definetly more than 35gees

Damn that's cold, I have a 5th gen and the look just kinda have to grow on some people, nevertheless it's still a Max and I still burn Honduhs, Slushstangs, and Slowvics everyday.

i'd take my 95 over any maxima prior to the vq35.
If i could, i'd have them put a vq35 engine in a 4th gen body.

yeah, i know, i was referring to the vq35 equipped Max's. 2000-2001 aren't any faster than 4th gen's, because of the extra couple hundred pounds. yeah, i agree, a 4th gen body with a vq35 motor would be wicked. although you'd have no 6 sp

well, i really don't see any reason why it couldn't be done. the hood on 5th gens isn't a whole lot bigger than 4th gen. i would imagine that it would fit in the engine bay without too much trouble. if you could pull that off, you would have one fast as hell maxima

it's in the works. not a done deed though. he's putting it in a 5th gen. it'd be a much better power/weight ratio in a 4th gen.

There was a guy running a VQ34DETT. He stroked it to 3.4 liters and added a twin turbo. An all motor beast. Just sick.

i think it's a VQ30DETT. the guy has the engine running on leaded gas. it's got 500 hp. the thing is it's not in a maxima chassis. :D i lost the link and the thread was something like "500hp vq30de found" i'll try to find it on the org.
