Hello,
All nice looking forum, you guys have. Seen it a couple of times, but never registered until today. I tried using your search function first (since no one likes a newbie, asking a question that gets asked a lot) but apperently no one has because it turned up zero results when i searched for timing belt change, timing belt for camry. (when a general serach is perfomed it finds lots of things)
Anyways the car is getting to the 60k mark, and the timing belt needs to be changed.
1. So has anyone done this?
2. Do you guys have a FAQ with timing belt install?
3. Are there any online manuals for the camry? (i know there a lot for the nissan 300zx)
4. Any suggestions about doing this (i'm assuming that you got to drop or raise the motor a little bit so you can get to the belt [dislike transveresed motors])
thanks for your time and any response

I have done it just yesterday May 24, 04. Followed the Haynes Manual. It took a long time to take alternator, engine mount and etc. off. I can now do it in 2 hours (with experience).
I also changed the water pump.
