This is one for Joey, it is a model my wife built and finished recently, the R-M VW Beetle kit.
I don't help her with these, she can do enough damage without my help.
She sprayed the body Tamiya Candy Lime Green and the wheels were stripped and sprayed with gloss aluminum metallizers.
Hope you like her work, I am really proud of her:)

Great color choice and a nice paintjob! A nice buildup!
Two comments as a person who owns one:
1) the door handles should be body colored not black
2) It looks like the emblem decals that go on the wheel center caps are applied in the front and rear body emblem spots. Not much you can do to change that now tho!
Wish my g/f could build models!

She didn't realise, she followed the instructions and only realised the mistake after, the instructions called for them to be black

No, those are the kit decals for the front and back, there were none for the wheels.
May i ask what brand this model is made by
It is the Revell-Monogram kit which is just a reboxed Revell AG kit.
Thanks for all the compliments guys, Jess really appreciates them:)

Didn't offend me, but it upset her.....
It is all one shade of green, but with changing light in varies in depth across the body, it is more a pearl color in my opinion, but the Tamiya spray can calls it Candy lime green....

I think the point of a candy paint is that it is semi-transparent. More coats or thicker coats are required to cover the colour that it is being sprayed over, so it gives the paint a really deep look because you can see through the layers of paint. I think for best results you are meant to use a metallic (usually silver or chrome) undercoat because you can see the metallic finish deep into the paint, which enhances the effect.
This may not be correct for Tamiya plastic model candy paints, but from experience with candy paints for polycarbonate radio controlled car bodies I believe this to be the case.

That Beetle looks way:cool:
The color sets it off nicely! Looks pretty impressive for a Revell AG model.

Good Job!
It's just that the kit seems a bit "shorter wheelbase".
